With the cold and possibly snowy months ahead creating the potential for a weather event to impact the school day, we wanted to share some information and links to help you be prepared in the case of a school delay or closure. Please read below how a delay will work, how you would be notified, what factors are taken into consideration and what happens on a late start Monday.
There are many factors taken into consideration when deciding whether to delay or close schools for the day. It is always our goal to keep schools open and on time during snowy weather, but safety comes first. Parents, guardians and students should always assume the school day will be conducted as normal unless they hear from the district via a phone call, email, district webpage, social media or local media.
