The VSD Board of Directors approved the Academic and Student Well-Being Plan by Board Resolution in May 2021.

Required of all school districts by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, the plan intends to provide information about how the district will address student needs over the course of the 2021-2022 school years. The plan helps identify which student groups need additional supports, defines how those supports will be provided, and engages a continuous improvement plan for recovery and acceleration of student learning and well-being in response to the effects of the pandemic.
