Kindergarten Orientation May 15th

Join us on May 15th at 3:15pm in the Valley School Multi-Purpose Room

Parents/guardians and future students turning five (5) years old before September 1, 2024 are encouraged to attend Kindergarten Orientation to tour the school, meet teachers, and enjoy milk and cookies with new friends. Families turning in a complete enrollment packet will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies. Please call the school at (509) 937-2413 for additional information and to request an enrollment packet before the event.

The journey to achieving the District Vision of “Where every student becomes a lifelong learner” is directed by the 2023-2028 Strategic Plan. The plan tracks four key concepts (“operational guideposts”) and includes specific goals and objectives for expanding, cultivating and enriching the district’s educational programs and student support services.

Paideia HS Weather Station

How hot or cold is it outside?
Check out the Paideia High School Weather Station for up-to-minute information about the temperature; humidity level; wind chill, speed and direction; and barometic trends. The weather data is used by science students to observe and record meteorological characteristics for the Valley area.

About Us
Valley School District is located in rural Stevens County, forty miles north of Spokane, Washington, just off Highway 395. We are an innovative school district with four distinct student programs: Valley Early Learning Center, Valley School (K-8), Paideia High School, and Columbia Virtual Academy. VL Transport Center is a transportation cooperative housed in Valley School District that serves surrounding school districts. Valley School District strives to provide educational services that cover the full spectrum of ages, learning needs and circumstances.
