June 19, 2020 Message From Superintendent Ben Ferney

Valley School District Staff and Families,


Here are some important items related to our school district that I would like to share.


You are invited to participate in the community forum for Paideia Principal Hiring process. The community forum is scheduled for 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 25. We will meet at the Concession Stand/Locker Room by the football field (weather permitting).


Summer Food Service will begin on Monday, June 22.  The plan is to hand out sacks of food with five days of meals in them on Mondays from 9:00-11:00 am in the Valley School Bus Loop (by the kitchen). Thank you for completing the survey and guiding the direction of the program.


You might be aware that yesterday Valley School District’s internet went down at 6:28 pm. This happened just two minutes before our virtual school board meeting was scheduled to start. Approximately, 30 minutes later we were able to start the meeting using alternative internet. If you were unable to attend and have information to share with the school board, please call the District Office at 937-2771.
