Valley School District Superintendent Update December 16, 2021
We are coming upon the last few days of school before a well-deserved two-week break leading into the New Year. A big thank you to the students, staff, and families who have made this school year special. Here are some important items for your awareness.
District Schools Do Not Provide COVID Vaccines
We have been receiving questions regarding the availability of COVID-19 vaccines at school for students after January 1, 2022. Valley School District has not and will not be administering COVID-19 vaccines to students or staff. Please check the NETCHD website at www.netchd.org for COVID-19 vaccine and booster availability and locations, or call your local pharmacy or healthcare provider.
Say Yes! At Home COVID Test Program
Information about how to get free Quidel rapid (antigen) COVID-19 test kits delivered to your home is available on the Northeast Tri County Health District website at https://www.netchd.org/253/COVID-19-Symptoms-Testing, or you can sign up directly by visiting https://www.sayyescovidhometest.org/
School will not be in session during Winter Break, which runs from Monday, December 20th through Friday, December 31st. We look forward to seeing you when we all return to campus on Monday, January 3rd.
My hope is that we will continue to move forward with the momentum established so far this school year. I wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season and hope your Winter Break is filled with friends, family, and fun!!
