Message from Superintendent Ferney: VSD Will Add Friday To In-person Schedule
March 26, 2021 Update from Superintendent Ben Ferney
Valley School District Staff and Families,
We are excited to announce that Fridays will be added to our current in-person learning schedule for students at school starting after spring break! Here are few important details:
New Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30-2:15 pm (current schedule + Friday), starting April 12th.
Food and Nutrition Services will no longer be delivering meals because of the 5-day schedule. Meals will be available for pick-up in the Valley School Bus loop daily from 8:00-12:00 pm.
Staff will communicate with remote learners to coordinate the change to their remote learning schedule.
We will have nine (9) weeks of school remaining after spring break and our goal is to finish strong! This year has been full of learning opportunities; we are all learning to be fluid and flexible, and I personally thank our students, families, and staff for your continuing adjustments, understanding and patience.
