A message from your Superintendent

Greetings!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Valley School District. As I begin my journey at Valley, I am joining a fabulous team of educators and professionals with a shared goal: serving Valley students, families, and the community.

Within each building and department, staff members are working hard to foster the district’s vision, "Where Every Student Becomes A Lifelong Learner." This vision will move us forward in our work. I have been honored and blessed to serve communities for the past 23 years as a teacher, principal, director and, now, Superintendent.

As Superintendent, I am excited to immerse myself in the community, excited to learn about the history of the Valley, and excited to collaborate and support the amazing businesses and groups located in the Valley. The thing I am most excited about is getting to know each person who plays a role in the Valley School District community, and together I think we can continue the great work happening for our students.

I absolutely love children, and watching them grow gives me great joy. The success of our students is the reason we are all here and I believe they need our best selves to show up for them every single day. Public education is the greatest gift we can give our children. I take very seriously, and highly respect, the job of making sure quality education is given to all students. This opportunity can change the direction of life for students, and through love, support and innovation, we have the ability to achieve this change. I believe working together we can continue to create the kind of district environment it takes to increase student-centered growth and engage principals, staff, and the community in this process.

As we move forward as a district, my goal is to keep you all informed. We are a team, and together we can make a difference for every student who attends Valley School District.
