Angela Rapp grew up in rural North Dakota and Iowa. She attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, where she met her husband Jake. While there, she completed majors in English, Spanish, math, and music; she is thrilled to work at a school where she can teach many subjects! She completed an M.A. in English at the University of Kansas before beginning her career in education. She taught in Kansas for many years before moving to Washington in 2015. In 2018, she and Jake welcomed their daughter to the world and now spend their time toddler-proofing their home.
Angela served as a volunteer in Argentina for a year and has traveled extensively in Spain and Mexico. When she is not teaching or spending time with her family, she enjoys playing board games, reading, and knitting. Favorite games include Pandemic, Five Tribes, Innovation, and Munchkin Shakespeare.
