I was raised in Colville and after a time traveling the world returned to Colville to start a family and raise my children. I have been married for 22 years and am the mother of four boys, one in the work force, one at college, and two in their last year of high school. I have a bachelor’s degree in social studies with a minor in health education from Washington State University and a master’s degree from Michigan State University. As part of my continuing education, I have gained endorsements in language arts, and earth science. I have been teaching for 30 years in a multitude of capacities. Classes I have taught include, world cultures, U.S. history, health, general science, English, and biology. I have a wide range of teaching experiences and have worked as a high school and junior high school teacher in a number of public schools, home school cooperative teacher, and a credit recovery teacher. I am excited to now be part of the Paideia team and eager to embrace their innovative model of instruction.
